New Cyber Enabled Fraud dates announced

New Cyber Enabled Fraud dates announced

02 December 2016

The Economic Crime Academy has just released a further date for its hugely popular course - ‘Introduction to Cyber Enabled Fraud’.

The course is taught by Academy associate Mark Johnson, an expert in explaining complex cyber issues to non technical audiences.

Mark describes the course as "everything you always wanted to know about cyber but were too afraid to ask".  Cyber enabled fraud is a hugely complex area and one which increasingly is becoming mainstream for business and the public sector alike.  However the language used remains that of the technical specialist - and even if you recognise the jargon, you need to understand the issues and how they affect your business as a whole.

Delegates describe the course as “a very good insight into cyber threats” which uses “good examples to simplify complex cyber terms and processes”.  At just £700, the course represents outstanding value for money.

Over the course of two days you could

  • Develop a good awareness of cyber-enabled fraud in the UK
  • See numerous examples of current cyber-enabled fraud cases
  • Understand the technical tools fraudsters and other criminals are using
  • Learn how fraudsters gather information and spot potential victims online
  • Uncover the mysteries of the Dark Web, home to fraudsters and hackers alike
  • Hear about the impact of the Internet of Things on the future shape of cyber-enabled fraud

This course is open to delegates from all sectors.  As with all Academy courses you can expect cutting edge learning which incorporates current and emerging threat intelligence and the latest trends.  We use small delegate numbers to promote high levels of interaction in class – so you get the best available training experience for these complex issues.

Join us on the 10th–11th January 2017 book now through our website, or call us on 020 7601 6846. Discounts available for multiple delegates or delegates from the public sector.
