Professional Training Pathway
Whilst the majority of our courses welcome delegates from across the counter-economic crime community, the courses in this section are only available to law enforcement practitioners.
Our Professional Training Pathway dovetails with PIP 1 and 2. We are also working with the Cabinet Office to align our courses with the Government Counter Fraud Profession.
We recognise budgets are limited, and the cost of travel
and accommodation in London can be prohibitive. We can work with you to deliver
these courses in your area to the same level of excellence but at substantially
reduced cost.
Fraud Investigation Foundation Course
This course is designed to give those working in law enforcement the knowledge and skills to conduct effective investigations by implementing the Fraud Investigation Model. It is suitable for investigators qualified to PIP 1 (Professionalising Investigation Programme) and those new to working in fraud investigation.
Economic Crime Specialist Investigator Programme
The Economic Crime Specialist Investigator Programme has been designed for those involved with the investigation of serious and complex economic crime offending. This will be included in the College of Policing PIP policy as a specialist elective model for PIP 2.
Management of Economic Crime Investigation Course
The Management of Economic Crime Investigation Course has been designed to enable the practitioner to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to manage both volume and complex fraud cases. This will be included in the College of Policing PIP policy as a specialist elective model for PIP 2 supervisors.
